Welcome to TM-B: Seeing Deeper. In this six-part series, we’ll take you inside the features and philosophies guiding the TM-B, from comparisons to other e-bikes to breakthrough engineering developments.
For our first installment, we’re exploring the technology that sets the TM-B apart from anything else on the road. Now, we could write a whole novel on this subject alone, but to keep things internet-friendly, we’ve narrowed it down to our four favorite TM-B tech features.
The TM-B’s top four standout features, according to ALSO.
Electric or not, buying a bike has always come with a mountain of compromises. Choosing between comfort, performance, and carrying capacity has historically forced riders to pick one and limit their capabilities… or buy all three and spend three times the money.
With the TM-B top frame ecosystem, riders get three bikes for the price of one.
Instead of choosing what kind of bike you want at the moment of purchase, you can start with a foundation and build over time as your interests, needs, and style evolve. This freedom to shape shift is unlike anything else on the market—especially considering you can swap a TM-B top frame faster than you can change your shoes.
We named the TM-B drive unit DreamRide because it quite literally delivers the ride of your dreams.
Technically speaking, inside DreamRide’s software-defined system lives every drivetrain that’s ever been—or could ever be—on the market. No longer are riders limited by the physical constraints of a given crankset or gear system. Instead, DreamRide effortlessly simulates any gearing scenario you can imagine. Mind-blowing stuff.
DreamRide also separates your fitness level from the on-bike experience, allowing you to make riding the TM-B as easy or as challenging as you want. In other words, you can show up to work sweat-free, then dial in your cardio on the ride home.

The Portal brings a truly connected experience to the TM-B, seamlessly weaving together features you’d expect from a modern EV, not a bike. Built entirely from scratch (including its own operating system), the Portal is engineered to boot quickly, dial in your ride, and make the TM-B extremely difficult to steal.
That deep integration unlocks features other e-bikes can’t offer, like turn-by-turn navigation and handlebar-controlled media, all without lag or compromise. The result? A riding experience that feels intuitive, seamless, and genuinely fun.
Most road-dwelling e-bikes don’t have full suspension. And honestly, we can’t wrap our heads around why. At 28 mph on real-world roads, full suspension is crucial for both comfort and safety.
That’s why we intentionally designed the TM-B for seated comfort using full suspension. The happy accident? We developed a killer trail bike along the way. With modern trail bike geometry and what is effectively a high-pivot suspension, the TM-B performs flawlessly on the road, and can comfortably venture off-road, too.
Tip: For best performance, opt for the All Terrain package, and always follow posted speed limits and trail rules when riding your TM-B.
Thanks for reading this week’s installment of TM-B: Seeing Deeper. Stay tuned for next week, when we’ll take a closer look at the underlying design philosophy of the TM-B.
