ALSO wins the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2026.

The TM-B can’t seem to stop winning design awards. And you know what? We can confidently say it’s a feeling that doesn’t get old.

This time, ALSO’s flagship product has earned one of the most recognized honors in design: a Red Dot Award for Product Design 2026.

For more than 70 years, Red Dot has been one of the most sought-after seals of quality in the international design community. Every entry is evaluated by an independent jury of design experts across dozens of categories, and only work that meets their bar for genuine excellence makes the cut.

The TM-B took home a win in the Bicycle and Bicycle Accessories category. Here's what the jury had to say:

"The ALSO TM-B e-bike impresses with its innovative modular design, which significantly expands its range of applications with minimal effort."

Why we entered.

Before anything else, ALSO is a design-led company. Every decision that went into the TM-B was made by people who obsess over details most riders will never consciously notice, but will always feel. Instead of adding features, we design systems, and we sweat the parts other companies would deem "good enough."

Throwing our proverbial hat into the Red Dot ring was never about needing a trophy to know the TM-B is good. It was about holding up our work next to the best design happening anywhere in the world, on someone else's terms, and seeing if it measured up. (It did.)

What the jury saw.

Possibilities unleashed by modularity. The TM-B's swappable Top Frames let the bike shift between Solo, Utility, and Bench configurations in seconds, with zero tools required. That kind of simplicity only looks effortless because of how much complexity we hid through painstaking design.

DreamRide. Our software-defined, pedal-by-wire drive system replaces the traditional mechanical drivetrain entirely. It's the same obsession with designing a perfect riding experience, just expressed in code instead of cassettes and derailleurs.

A striking, deliberate form. The centrally positioned, transparent drive housing and oversized frame tubes weren't styled after the engineering was complete. TM-B form and function were designed in lockstep, from day one.

We're honored to be recognized alongside some of the best product design in the world this year. You can view the full award listing on the Red Dot site, and if you want to see the bike behind the award for yourself, explore the TM-B.
